Chasing a man never works. Instead of it making the man want you more, chasing will actually make him want you less.
Therefore, by studying Song of Solomon 2:1-5, we can see five better ways to draw a man to you instead of chasing him.
Did you just go through something that has made you want to give up on relationships? Are you tired of opening your heart to people only to have them misuse you and leave?
Does that woman like you or is she just using you emotionally? Does she enjoy your friendship because she’s getting to know you before dating, or does she just want to be your friend forever? Is she a healthy Christian woman or a toxic woman just stringing you along for selfish reasons?
Here are 3 signs Satan is trying to distract a woman by using a man who is not her future husband.
When you really want to be married one day but you are single for longer than you wanted, it’s natural to ask yourself, “What am I doing wrong?”
Maybe you heard God say, “That is the man you will marry one day.” Or maybe you felt God said, “That woman will come back into your life one day.” Or maybe you sensed God whispering, “Don’t worry, I will bless you with a better job soon.”
While the Bible doesn’t say anything about the “the spirit of Jezebel,” the Bible does say a lot about the historical evil person Jezebel. Satan certainly wants people to act like this evil woman.
We know the Bible says to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). So why isn’t God removing your romantic feelings for someone who is not a Christian?
When Satan attacks, usually he doesn’t use overt tactics. We might imagine lights flickering, a person with a deep voice uttering evil spells, or some other visible mark of demonic influence. However, Satan knows he is more effective from the shadows, when we don’t know he’s working, so we then do not resist his evil will (James 4:7).
If you are a Christian woman who reads her Bible, I’m sure you already know a lot of red flags to watch out for when it comes to men. You know a man is not acting biblically if he pushes for sex before marriage, if he is sending you mixed signals, or if he is idolizing you.
