Imagine going to the doctor because you feel unwell. Upon arriving, you demand he give you an in-depth blood test, an EKG test for your heart, and an MRI of your whole body.
God can do anything he wants, whenever he wants, and by whatever method he wants. So if God doesn’t want someone in your life, why wouldn’t he just remove them instantly rather than “trying” to remove them?
Some men who want to be married will remain single. That’s a different topic than what I’m talking about here. I’m talking about a man’s choice to intentionally remain single and not pursue a relationship with a woman that leads to marriage.
Perhaps you were doing just fine in your singleness, but then you met someone new and an intense wave of unmet longing came rushing over you. Or maybe you dated someone years ago, but for some reason you’ve been thinking about them a lot lately.
Have you met the right person but is it just the wrong time? Or maybe God is going to lead you to switch careers, but is now the right time? Or perhaps you want to share the gospel with someone you know is rebelling, but is God telling you to wait for a more effective opportunity?
