2 Corinthians 1:3-5
I recently asked a question to the AGW subscribers, “What’s the most challenging part of Christian singleness for you?” The responses that came in were overwhelming. People really shared their heart and talked about how hard the season of Christian singleness can be for them.
2 Corinthians 11:3
If you are a Christian single who is actively dating or pursuing a relationship, odds are you have experienced some level of rejection. Everyone who opens themselves up to start a relationship is also opening themselves to rejection.
1 Corinthians 7:7
If you’ve ever asked for dating advice on how to find a spouse from well-intentioned Christians and pastors, there’s a high probability you’ve received some version of this common Christian dating advice, “If you really want to be married, you have to put God first. If you truly love God, he will take care of the rest.”
So are you actually single because you don’t love God enough? If you loved God more, would you be married by now? Is your love for God actually the root reason for your prolonged season of unwanted singleness?
Proverbs 13:20
Have you ever said to yourself, “There are is no other Christians my age who I would consider dating”? And yet, as you look around at all the other Christians who are getting married, you can help but wonder where they are meeting each other.
Galatians 6:7
Throughout the Bible, we are warned that we always reap what we sow. The choices we made in the past are affecting us right now. And the choices we are making right now will affect us one day in the future. The same is true when it comes to the choices we make in singleness.
1 Peter 3:3-4
Christian singleness is a blessing from God. Christian marriage is also a blessing from God. Therefore a desire for either one is healthy. Certainly we can have sinful reasons for wanting to be single or married, but either desire is biblical in and of itself.
Ephesians 5:11-17
One of the trickiest parts of Christian dating can be when you have past sexual sins. When should you tell your boyfriend or girlfriend about the sexual sins in your past relationships? What details should you share and not share with your boyfriend or girlfriend about your past mistakes in relationships? Should you talk about this early in the relationship or later on?
1 Timothy 4:12
How does the church treat singles? Every church is obviously unique. Some churches help singles a lot and some . . . not so much.

Her content about Christian dating aligns very closely with my own and she has great real-life experience in this area, so I asked her to be interviewed and she accepted.

Romans 12:12
As I’ve talked about before, it is not wrong to want to be married. It is not a sign that you are discontent with God if you wish you were not single. Unwanted Christian singleness only becomes a problem when your desire for a spouse hinders your joy in God. We can be joyful in God while still discontent with singleness.
