Not knowing God’s word is like going into a dark cave without a flashlight, you’ll get lost.

Not knowing God’s word is like operating a crane without any training, you’ll hurt somebody.

Not knowing God’s word is like being an infant without a parent, you’ll die.

Not knowing God’s word is like being a soldier at war without a gun, you’ll be useless.

Not knowing God’s word is like being a sheep without a shepherd, you’ll wander away.

Not knowing God’s word is like being a plant without any water, you’ll shrivel up.

Not knowing God’s word is like flying a plane with not enough fuel, you’ll fly high and crash hard.

Not knowing God’s word is like learning trigonometry without a calculator and text book, you’ll be completely confused.

Not knowing God’s word is like being out at sea with no compass, you’ll be forever drifting away from your intended destination.

Not knowing God’s word is like being married to a spouse who loves you passionately, but never reading the love letters he or she is writing you.

Not knowing God’s word will cause you to never know God and the great love he has for you.

Not knowing God’s word and trying to live the Christian life is simply impossible!
