When I talk about God revealing “the one,” I’m not denying the fact that millions of people get married all the time without doing it God’ way. So I’m not saying that if you don’t see these 4 spiritual things you can’t marry someone. God allows us all to make choices. But God also allows us all to experience the consequences of our choices. God wants good for you; therefore, God has made the best path clear to us in his word.
Here are 5 things that will often happen when God does not want you to keep waiting for someone.
In humility, we have to submit to the fact that we are not perfect like God. Sometimes we make mistakes in our assessments of relationships. When this occurs, God will lead us to reconsider our original assessment.
Singleness itself is a blessing from God just like marriage is also a blessing from God (1 Corinthians 7:7). So I’m not saying that Satan is happy when a Christian is single. Rather, Satan’s desire is that you miss God’s will and that you choose the opposite of what God wants for you.

There are plenty of real-life examples of God putting two Christians together in marriage before they learned these valuable lessons. But because they did not learn these lessons their relationship will be harder and less enjoyable than it needed to be.
