No human is absolutely good except Jesus Christ himself (Romans 3:23). However, according to Scripture, there are people who are walking with God and then there are people who are following Satan (John 8:42-44).
According to Scripture, it’s very clear that both singleness and marriage are equally good callings from the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:7). It’s more complicated, however, to know which one God has called you to.
When you meet that person God has for you, the relationship will last. However, a lasting relationship isn’t just about finding the right person. This relationship won’t last just because of sheer luck and compatibility.
In Ephesians 6:10-12 Paul, warns us that unseen demonic forces will uses “schemes” to attack God’s people. By definition, a scheme is an intricate assault that seeks to bring harm without you even noticing it. This is why Satan loves to use relationships for his evil agenda.
Over the years, people have pointed to the book of Hosea and asked me, “Is that evidence that God could make me marry someone I don’t want to marry?”
When I say that you can marry the wrong person, I don’t mean that this will justify a divorce. In a way, once you are married, you are married to the right person because God wants you to stay married to that person unless a biblical reason for divorce occurs and then you want to part ways.
This is one of those articles you could misuse if you are not careful. Don’t just read the title and say to yourself, “Seeing this must be a sign God will bring this man back into my life.” Rather, really look at the points to see if these are relevant to you. If the points don’t apply, don’t assume God will bring this man back into your life.
