4 Hints God Will Bring that Man Back Into Your Life One Day

Proverbs 3:5-6

This is one of those articles you could misuse if you are not careful. Don’t just read the title and say to yourself, “Seeing this must be a sign God will bring this man back into my life.” Rather, really look at the points to see if these are relevant to you. If the points don’t apply, don’t assume God will bring this man back into your life.

With that said, there are certainly times where God had to remove a man from your life so you two could be a couple in the future. Here are 4 hints this will happen to you and this man you are thinking about.

1. If You and This Man Needed Time a Part in Order to Be Ready for a Relationship Together, God May Bring This Man Back Into Your Life One Day

For example, even though Abraham had been in the land God promised (Genesis 12:7), he took that land away for a period of time, promising to return it to Abraham’s descendants. During the time away from the promised land, God multiplied the people in preparation while also preparing for those sinful nations currently occupying the land to be judged (Genesis 15:12-16).

Likewise, it is possible you will meet a man that you are not currently compatible with. Perhaps he needs to spiritually mature or you need to emotionally heal. The point is, if you two need time a part so you can be brought back together one day once you are ready to thrive in a healthy way together, this is a sign God may bring this man back into your life.

2. If God Had to Take This Man Away So You Two Could Both Delight in the Lord First, This Could Be a Sign God Will Bring This Man Back One Day

Making a sacrifice for God won’t always result in getting something you want from God in return for your sacrifice. But there are times in life where God wants to give you something but he first wants you to put him before this blessings.

Psalm 37:4 states, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” If a relationship has become an idol or a temptation, it will block you from delighting in the Lord. However, when this happens, this also prevents you from receiving other good things God wants to give you.

The primary blessing God wants for you is himself. He knows he’s the best, thus he will always work in your life to help you put him first for your good and his glory (Jeremiah 32:39-41). Once you are fully enjoying him, you are also then free to enjoy lesser blessings too (1 Timothy 6:17).

3. If You Couldn’t Value This Man Until You Realized What You Lost, God Could Bring This Man Back Into Your Life Now that You Can Appreciate Him

I would be careful in being too quick to assume this point relates to you. Once a relationship ends, it’s very common for the man and woman to miss each other. After a bit of time a part, however, oftentimes these regrets diminish and you realize you two should remain a part. You want to avoid the boomerang type of effect where the breakup always swings you two back together just to keep breaking up and getting back together over and over again. Let some time go to see how your feelings really shake out.

There are times, however, that a loss is needed before the gift can be received. When Hezekiah became sick, only then did he return to the Lord. In Isaiah 38:17 he prayed (NIV), “Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.” Sometimes God has to let us experience pain so we will see what he wants us to see.

If God had to separate you from this man for a period of time so you could learn to appreciate what you have together rather than focusing too much on the imperfections present (because no relationship is perfect), this could be a sign God will bring this man back into your life one day.

4. If You Want This Man to Come Back Into Your Life, This Could Be a Sign God Will Do That One Day

Many of you read the title of this article and then said to yourself, “Oh no! I hope God doesn’t bring that man back into my life. I’m very happy without him!”

If that’s you, this article doesn’t apply to you. If you are happy this man is gone and then he tries to come back into your life, this is a sign you just need to reject this man and intentionally block him from getting back into your life. He may try to come back, but that doesn’t mean God wants you to accept this man back. When it comes to romance, you don’t have to be with someone you don’t want to be with (1 Corinthians 7:36). Additionally, others of you said, “Yes, I want this man back in my life. Thus, my desire must be a sign God will bring this person back one day.” I’m not saying that in this point either. Just because you want this man to come back is not a sign God will bring him back.

Rather, what I’m saying here is that if you really want to be with this man and he has many good qualities and then this man comes back into your life, this could be a sign God is the one orchestrating these events so you two can be together.
