People can try to build their own relationships on poor foundations, but if you want God to truly build your relationship, he will always start by building on a solid foundation.

As we all know, communication is key to any healthy relationship. But rather than giving you a list of three specific conversations you must have word-for-word with someone before you date them, in this article I’m going to give you 3 types of conversations I believe God wants you to have before he will release you to date someone.
Sometimes we will never fully understand why God allowed a relationship to fall apart. Sometimes it didn’t fall apart because of anything you did or because of something someone else did. There are times where we just need to accept that something was just not God’s will for us.
However, there are times where God allowed a relationship to fall apart as a consequence of our choices or the choices of the person we were in a relationship with.

Only God can truly know what is going on in someone’s heart. We are not called to judge people’s motives and internal condition, but throughout Scripture we are warned to have discernment and to observe negative traits in people’s lives so we can avoid getting hurt or tempted by them.
