From a biblical perspective, I think the term “fall in love” is a bit unwise. However, I’m using it because it’s the language our culture understands in reference to the process of a man and woman progressing towards marriage.

Do you feel like a guy friend that you have a great connection with actually likes you but for some reason he won’t make a move? Has a guy been texting you for months but won’t pull the trigger to ask you on a date? Do you and a guy at church have an awkward chemistry because it feels like you both like each other but he’s not doing anything about it?

It’s actually very healthy to think about someone you like. When you are thinking about them, it can help you process if you really want to be in a relationship with this person or not, it can help you define what you feel God is saying, and it can help you formulate a plan on how to proceed forward.
